Official: Manchester United signed Fletcher’s 16-year-old twin son from Manchester City youth training, with a transfer fee of 1.25 million pounds.
Live broadcast on August 31, Taylor-Fletcher and Jack-Fletcher announced on social media that they had signed a contract with Manchester United.
Jack and Taylor, 16, are the twin sons of Manchester United’s famous and current club technical director Fletcher. The two had been in Manchester City youth training camp for 9 years before, but decided to switch to Manchester United youth training camp this summer. According to previous reports in Manchester Evening News, Manchester United will pay 1.25 million pounds of transfer fee for the two.
Taylor-Fletcher and Jack Fletcher both work as midfield players, but they have different habitual feet and different technical characteristics. Jack (below) is a left-footed player who tends to play in the offensive midfield. Currently, he has played 3 games on behalf of Scotland U16 and scored 1 goal. Taylor (above) is the right-footed general, mainly in defensive midfield and organizational midfield, representing Scotland U16 in 7 games.
